Our Training Program

We want our employees to succeed as technology leaders, and we put our money and energy where our mouths are. Since the company was founded, employees have enjoyed generous training budgets and a rich learning environment. In 2007, we formalized the program into NIC-U, Near Infinity University, designed to encourage employees to constantly improve their skills and abilities, become technology leaders, and share knowledge with their teammates.

NIC-U includes:

• Attendance at local and national seminars, conferences and symposia
• An annual training budget, controlled by each employee, with paid time and expenses to attend these events
• Monthly in-house technical training provided by NIC employees
• Semi-annual Near Infinity afternoon conference
• Internship program for local undergraduate and graduate students
• Internal wiki for knowledge sharing
• Active public blogging community
